New Year – New Challenge

Trustee Vacancies

East Looe Town Trust, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, manages and maintains most of the public realm properties and land in East Looe.

New trustees are needed, who must be keen to take an active part in the community and have an interest in the infrastructure of the town.  Trustees are required to attend one evening meeting a month (second Tuesday) and are asked to be involved in one or more areas of the Trust business, as time permits

Charities require a diverse Board of Trustees with members having a broad range of experience, of different genders and ethnicity. We particularly welcome female applicants. There is no requirement for any particular qualification or experience; we welcome anyone who is happy to give time and energy to furthering the Trust’s aims and the wellbeing of Looe and its residents.  Applicants must be over 18 years of age, live in Looe or adjoining parishes and not be (or a household member of) a contractor, staff member or tenant of the Trust.

Trustees are volunteers but expenses are payable.  They are generally co-opted for a period of four years and thereafter may be reselected. For full details of the Trust activities, see our website at the address below.

Please register your interest in writing, giving your background, anticipated contribution and areas of particular interest, with the Trust office before 31st January 2021.
