Office Admistrator - Ms Nina Bond“Having lived in the area for the majority of my life, I am excited to now be working for the Trust. This change in career path bring new opportunities and the chance to be able to work in the area where I live.
I grew up making the most of the fantastic open space we have on the Wooldown and spending time on the beach and it’s great to be able to see, from this side, the great things that the Trust do to protect these areas and the heritage of the town, for future generations.”
Trust Manager - Ms Jane DayIt has been a busy few months at the Trust, with Judy Martin retiring after many years’ service and the trust manager, Anona Vazquez-Masson, moving to sunnier climes. The Trustees had a busy time interviewing candidates and I am delighted that I have been promoted to Trust Manager and am joined by Nina Bond as Office Administrator.
It has been a steep learning curve but with the continuing support of our busy maintenance team and board of volunteer Trustees, I look forward to continuing the good work of the Town Trust and working on exciting new projects for the benefit of our town and community.
Maintenance Manager - Mr Antony ScarahAntony joined the Trust in 2007 as part of the maintenance team. His responsibilities have grown over the years, and now he is the Trust's Maintenance Manager. Working for the Trust is very demanding on him his main responsibilities are to deal with and manage our property maintenance needs. With his high work load, Antony is still able to finds time to offer his service to the town as a retained fire fighter, something the Trust fully supports. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family and playing his banjo with a local band.
Anthony's collegue who works closely with him is Bill Friend.
Bill has been a full time member of the Maintenance Team since July 2018, having worked part time for the previous 12 months. From the start of the 2018 summer season, Bill took on the main responsibility for the beach and prom areas. This led to many comments on social media as to how good both the areas looked, something Bill is very proud of.
